Sketching routine and Inking

As much as possible, I take the time to draw. If I can't go out and sit on a bar terrace or in a public garden, I draw from fashion magazines or photos I find online. Drawing is always challenging, but I never spend too much time on it. I started drawing on the subway. Quick drawings. Usually less than a minute because I didn't want my unconscious models to notice me. Sometimes I would stare at people for a few seconds and draw from memory. in the future, I will collect some of my subway stuff and create a project on Behance.

Digital colouring

Sketches are great for experimenting colouring technics. These are digital sketches.
Copies

I am an absolute fan of Mike Mignola and Charles Burns (but not only...). In flea markets, street fairs or antique shops, I love searching for pulp comics gems that I like to reproduce afterward. I learn a lot emulating artists I dig. Inking sketches, is for me, very similar to Japanese calligraphy. Copying masters is like Zen meditation.
