La collaboration avec Sophie Belissent et Luis Tamayo du Théâtre de l'Instant a débuté en 2017 avec Les Émigrés. Pour ce projet, je me suis inspiré de la structure du Soleil, arcane majeur n°19 du tarot de Marseille, qui me semblait parfaitement résumer toute la symbolique et l’histoire imaginée par Mrozek.
À l’époque, j’ignorais que Sophie Belissent, directrice de la compagnie, était une grande passionnée du Tarot.
Nous avons alors décidé que les futurs projets visuels s’appuieraient sur le concept des arcanes majeurs, en choisissant à chaque fois la carte qui représenterait au mieux l’histoire à illustrer.

The collaboration with Sophie Belissent and Luis Tamayo from Théâtre de l'Instant began in 2017 with Les Émigrés. For this project, I drew inspiration from the structure of The Sun, the 19th Major Arcana of the Marseille Tarot, as it seemed to perfectly embody the symbolism and spirit of Mrozek’s story.
At the time, I had no idea that Sophie Belissent, the company's director, was a passionate Tarot enthusiast.
We then agreed that future visual projects would be based on the concept of the Major Arcana, selecting for each production the card that would best represent the story.
